"Alex and I met when we were in middle school. Our older brothers were best friends, which meant our families got together quite a bit. We had crushes on each other but my family decided to move back to Seattle. During high school we reconnected and after I graduated my whole family moved back to Florida. Alex flew to Washington and helped my family drive all of our stuff back to Florida and we have been together ever since! On our 4 year anniversary I made Alex go to Eden Garden park to take pictures. I set up my tripod and Alex had the remote to my camera. He proposed while taking pictures!
We got married on October 22 and we can't wait to see what life has in store for us!"

I am so happy to finally share Nick and Kathys highlight blog FINALLY from their wedding. Such a honor to meet both of these sweet souls! Read their story here ---

"Nick and I met in 2009 when my best friend Abi introduced us. We all went and ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Nick was a small town boy going to school at the University of Alabama and I was figuring things out for myself in Pensacola. I like to believe it was destiny us meeting each other when we did. For the next few months we would randomly run into each other all the time. After a while I finally gave him my number and from that point forward we were inseparable. Fast forward 6 years and we find out that God has blessed us with a beautiful baby girl! This was the hardest time of our life. Nick was working back and forth in Montgomery and I was on bedrest at my mother’s house. He still found a way to make sure that we were taken care of the whole time. We had Kyndall Renea at 26 weeks’ gestation and were blessed to spend 11 beautiful days with our angel baby. The next few months were nothing short of a roller coaster ride for the two of us, but somehow brought us closer together than ever before. Nick proposed to me at our angel baby’s bed on Christmas morning and it was the most romantic thing I could have ever asked for, and now we are living out our happily ever after with our angel baby watching over us every day."

 

Jacqueline & Conner

I met Jacqueline & her sister one pretty sunny afternoon for some coffee. She told she was getting married at Eden gardens and i was so excited hoping she would book with me so i could capture this sweet wedding for her. We were very excited! Jacqueline & Conner had a gorgeous bright sunny day in Destin and we can not wait to show you these gorgeous highlights from her day! Congrats you two!

I am DROOOLING over these photos. When we started to plan this session i knew she was a perfect fit for me. She sent me some photos she liked and inspiration and i knew i could make these very special for her. The day was perfect & she was absolutely stunning. You are going to be a wonderful mother and i am so luck to have met you!

LOOVEEEDDD meeting this sweet girl and her husband! We did not have much time before the sunset but we made it work and even with an outfit change. Seriously check out her floral dress. To die. I hardly had to tell these two what to do the entire session...mostly because they were so in love it was not so posed, easy, and their loved shinned. She owns a photography business as well (her photos are absolutely stunning). Thank you for trusting me for doing these for you Tahiry. Can't wait to meet up again and have some photography talks!

OFELIA + BRANDON

Brandon & Ofelia had such an amazing wedding! When i walked into this barn i was swooning over every single detail. Her dress to her gorgeous flowers it was all absolutely perfect. When my assistant and i showed up it was POURING rain...It all cleared just in enough time to do their portraits outside & we all know rain means good luck on your wedding day. Thank you both for not only being so sweet but being so much in love it made my job super easy!

This was an amazing downtown wedding at a private residence. Everything was absalutly perfect for a perfect couple. The colors were perfect for her bright and happy personality. She planned this wedding in weeks...yes weeks! When she contacted me last minute i could not believe i had the date open. It was meant to be!!!

I met this sweet duo on Pensacola beach on a stormy day! I was a little nervous about the weather because they drove all the way from Alabama for their session. Everything turned out perfectly and the weather could not have been better. There was huge beautiful waves and the sky was perfect. He was a little shy with me at first but warmed up when we let him get in the water and play in the sand!

STYLED SHOOT///BURCH HOUSE

My first styled shoot i have ever done-- it was amazing. The day of... it was raining... very over cast and i was really nervous of the turn out. I am so happy with the results and am super thankful for all the amazing vendors who helped me make it happen. The Burch house is a new venue in Pace, fl. They will be taking weddings starting in March, 2017. I was so excited to share these all with you.

Holly Hammond

When holly came to me about doing these photos i really was honored. I could not believe her strength in the hardest time in her life. I have known holly since high school! She has always been a strong person in general since i met her. We of course went on with our lives not keeping any touch but social media since school. I saw she had got married and moved away with her husband and looked so happy. One day i had heard about a plane crash in Afghanistan and several men had died. I never imagined in a million years one of the men on that plane was married to someone i knew. I of course never wanted to bother in that time in her life but wanted to do something for her.. but knew there was probably nothing that could help her in that time. Once i received that message i KNEW how important these would be for her... she brought all of their things together.. his things.. photos they had together. There was a lot of tears but also happy moments for her.  Holly you are truly a unbelievable example of a strong woman and i look up to you in many ways. Thank you for letting me capture these for you. Prayers for everyone's loved ones who were lost that day.

ASH&JOE

Ashley and Joe were HILARIOUS. I loved meeting them and we had the most gorgeous light the day of their session. I was so excited to get home to these beauty's and edit them. We are so close in due dates i did not want her to not get these before her baby got here. I can't wait to meet sweet Elise and work together again!!!
